Seattle Study Club
Seattle Study Club, Inc. is an international network of doctors interested in furthering their knowledge to provide excellent care to each and every patient that comes into their practice. There are over 250 clubs in the network located in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, China and Spain. Each club meets regularly for interactive educational programs, discussion on the latest developments in dentistry and presentations by world-renowned clinical speakers. These meetings provide a forum for each member doctor to discuss and plan cases with the collective knowledge of the entire group.
Our local clubs offer educational experiences that exceed the highest expectations of excellence. Clinicians within the Seattle Study Club organization are motivated to learn more and achieve a higher level of comprehensive care for their patients. The Seattle Study Club network is a true university without walls, providing so much more than continuing education for dentists – we cultivate knowledge, understanding, collaboration and camaraderie and, together, we continue to impact the way dentistry is practiced.

Meet the Team
Director: Dr. David Mugford
Dr. Mugford is the Director of the Triple Crown Study Club (an affiliate of the nationally renowned Seattle Study Club network). It is a group of local dentists who are committed to providing quality, comprehensive treatment options for their patients. Dr. Mugford hosts internationally acclaimed speakers to provide unparalleled opportunities for his members to learn directly from these experts. This promotes individual excellence and fosters a strong dental community to benefit patients.
Under the Leadership of Dr. Mugford, a team of Dentists from the Triple Crown Study Club presented and competed in the Seattle Study Club’s International Symposium and won the World Team Treatment Planning Competition in 2014.
Director: Dr. John Bruce
Dr. Bruce has been committed to continued education through his dental training through both local and internationally known organizations. Specifically, he has maintained memberships through the American Academy of Periodontology, International Team for Implantology, Southern Academy of Periodontics, International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons, and Seattle Study Club. Additionally, he has trained directly with Dr. Pat Allen’s Center for Advanced Dental Education and The Dawson Academy.
